Thanks to Alex for sending me details on a surgeon. I don't know if I can be fixed, as we still don't really know what's up with me. Either way I conscious that my blog for the last 6 months has been a fairly depressing read, not to mention a depressing "write" and constant reminder. So it's time to stop. Enjoyed the blogging, and know it's helped a few along the way.
I'm not sure what the future holds for me now, on any front, so take care and enjoy your running.
Rich
Hi Rich, I really hope that whatever is wrong is fixable under local anaesthetic, I will miss your blog as I do enjoy reading it- maybe if things go well and you are back running or whatever in future, you will start it up again?
ReplyDeleteKeep in touch through the forum and let us know how things are going, all the very best.
Your blog has been an immense source of information, help, support, and inspiration for many people and you can take some reward from that. I know it's been a great source of information to me. It's a pity you never get to see or meet everyone who's life you have touched; I'm sure it would be an impressive crowd! It is a sad to hear that you aren't sure how your running will go now, and that you are completing your blog. It's probably a good idea if it's getting you down, but I hope that you get fixed and one day we see your blog reinvented. All the best.
ReplyDeleteHi Rich, I really empathise. I do hope you can find a diagnosis and treatment (keep your hopes alive for that), and in the meantime find events that don't aggravate it. Would the LDWA events allow that?
ReplyDeleteI came to it rather late, but I have enjoyed reading your blog of your daring adventures and challenges. All the best for the future.
Nick.
